Lil Wayne rumors soar on a daily basis, from him being in love with Superhead to him breaking down the self-proclaimed baddest Bit*h…but the most recent rumor of engagement seems to be true. According to mediatakeout, Lil Wayne has proposed to his ex-wife LeToya Carter.
One of LeToya’s close friends told mediatakeout that “Wayne got down on one knee and gave her a [6 carat] diamond ring…Everyone is so excited and happy for them.”
And it doesn’t seem like this is going to be a long engagement, the friend also told them that “We’ve already started planning [the wedding], maybe it’ll happen in the summer or fall.”
Lil Wayne and LeToya married for the first time in February of 2004 and they separated in 2005. The couple has one daughter, Reginae.
