Is There Racism in Women's Tennis- Mr. Williams Speaks Out

In a recent interview in Bangladore, India Venus and Serena’s father spoke about modern day racism in tennis. He told the Deccan Herald that he doesn’t “think Venus or Serena [were] ever accepted by tennis [and] they never will be.” While he attributed some of the unfairness to the Women’s Tennis Association his main focus seemed to be on the media. He believes the media treats his daughters unfairly and that it was “the worst media job that they have done on any human being in the world…if he were Venus or Serena he would have quit playing.” Larry Scott, the head of the Women’s Tennis Association denies Mr. Williams statements…
