As a Transgender (born a female, transformed into a male),he and his wife of ten years;Nancy have always dreamed of having a child of their own. A year ago Beatie quit taking his bimonthly testosterone injections to arrange fertility for the embryo. Beatie states it's been roughly eight years since his last menstral encounter; which leaves a green light for pregnancy.
This story has sparked social, legal, and political issues all around the media world. There were a total of nine doctors that the couple had encounters with and all refused to assist quote "someone like you"; forcing them to do home insemination.
Beatie is now five months pregnant and scheduled to have a girl early fall.
