Reggie Bush Backs Down to Ray-J

A few weeks ago, media sites were saying that Reggie Bush was going to “straighten” Ray-J out the next time he saw him. Either Reggie is all talk or Kim K helped him keep his cool, but last week the two ran in to each other and according to “In Touch” magazine Reggie made no efforts to straighten anything out. Here’s what happened:

You’d think Ray J would fear the wrath of ex Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Reggie Bush, after he joked on The Tyra Banks Show that the football star was getting his “sloppy seconds.” But a friend of the singer claims Reggie, 23, avoided Ray J, 27, when they ran into each other recently. “Kim and Reggie were shopping at Gucci when they saw Ray J,” the friend tells “In Touch.” “Reggie exited the store so quickly; he left his credit card there!” But a pal of Reggie’s says that he left at Kim’s urging to avoid a scene. “Ray J is just lucky Reggie showed restraint.”

Donald Trump: "Recession...Huh...What Recession?"

The Trump never ceases to amaze us. Just when we thought that the country is going into recession, he reminded us that people do have money to waste. Today, the New York Post reported that Donald Trump is asking for a new record high rent of $200,000 a month for one of his unsold Park Avenue penthouses. YES $200,000 DOLLARS a MONTH. WTF????

According to the Post, the 10-room duplex condominium at Trump Park Avenue, which is also for sale at $45 million, includes three bedrooms, 6½ baths, huge terraces, high ceilings, a grand staircase, and panoramic views of Manhattan and beyond.

"It can't be trumped," exclaimed Brown Harris Stevens listing broker Kathy Sloane. "It really is the most impressive residence on Park Avenue."

~Impressive…are they crazy…there are people starving…the country’s about to go into recession…and some idiot is probably going to end up spending $200,000 a month on a darn penthouse…America we aren’t broke…we CAN’T be~

Please Leave Kanye ALONE

Kanye is being sued by a songwriter in Maryland, who is accusing him of stealing his hit song the “Good Life.” Songwriter/producer Dayna “D’Mystro” Staggs is Suing West for copyright infringement. He claims that West failed to “obtain a license” to sample his record “Volume of Good Life.”

In legal papers filed in Maryland District Court last week, Staggs admits that West was "only six or seven years of age (sic)" when his song was written. But his main objection is to the "vulgar and offensive" images associated with the song, that was featured on West's third album "Graduation," he claims the song "harms the reputation" of his inoffensive tune.

He is demanding 85 per cent of all world sales of the proceeds from "Good Life," but he hasn’t currently stated how he has come to that figure.

The L.A. Times Apologizes to Diddy

The L.A. Times recently apologized for the FALSE story it printed…check out what they said:
A Los Angeles Times story about a brutal 1994 attack on rap superstar Tupac Shakur was partially based on documents that appear to have been fabricated, the reporter and editor responsible for the story said Wednesday.

Reporter Chuck Philips and his supervisor, Deputy Managing Editor Marc Duvoisin, issued statements of apology Wednesday afternoon. The statements came after The Times took withering criticism for the Shakur article, which appeared on latimes.com last week and two days later in the paper's Calendar section.

The criticism came first from The Smoking Gun website, which said the newspaper had been the victim of a hoax, and then from subjects of the story, who said they had been defamed."In relying on documents that I now believe were fake, I failed to do my job," Philips said in a statement Wednesday. "I'm sorry."

Remy Ma is Facing Almost 25 Years in Prison

We told you it didn’t look too good for Remy Ma. On Thursday, she was led out of a Manhattan courtroom weeping and in handcuffs after she was convicted for shooting a woman outside a nightclub last summer.

Remy is currently facing 25 years imprisonment for shooting a young lady over $3,000 dollars. As the verdict was read she quietly wiped her tears away and once she left the courtroom she wailed loudly and sobbed openly. The State Supreme Court Justice, Rena Uviller, ordered that she be jailed without bail until her April 23 sentencing hearing.

Karina Smirnoff from Dancing with the Stars seems to have a thing for men named Mario. First, she was seen out in the public with her former “Dancing with the Stars” partner Mario Lopez… and NOW… it seems like she has a thing for her new partner, R&B singer Mario. She was recently spotted kissing her current partner Mario at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. The source told the Post "they were making out by the valet with their hands all over each other, and he was whispering in her ear. It was around midnight, so there weren't many people around. The two then got in the same car and drove off together with Mario at the wheel.”

PETA Tries to Save Aretha's House

Aretha Franklin, the self-proclaimed Queen of Soul, is having major money problems. Apparently, she hasn’t been able to pay the taxes on her $700,000 Detroit mansion and as a result of being $19, 192 dollars behind, her house is going into foreclosure.

But luckily, the PETA organization is trying to help her out. They recently wrote her a letter agreeing to pay her tax bill if she promises to never wear fur again and to donate her unwanted furs to the group.

Here’s the letter:

“Dear Ms. Franklin,

I am writing regarding the pending foreclosure of your home. We would like to help you out by paying the approximately $19,000 in back taxes that you owe-if you’ll agree to save animals from hideous suffering and death by promising never to wear fur again and donating your old furs to PETA.

We are absolutely sincere in making this offer-we believe that you know in your heart that your fans will love you even more if you make a fur-free resolution.

As you no doubt now realize, animals who are trapped in the wild can suffer for days before dying from exposure, frostbite, shock, or infection or by being strangled, stomped, or bludgeoned to death by trappers.

Animals on fur farms are confined to tiny, filthy cages where they often go insane before they are gassed, poisoned, or electrocuted or have their necks broken. These crude killing methods aren’t always effective, and sometimes animals are skinned alive.

UPDATE!!!!! T.I. Gets the PLEA of the YEAR

T.I. outside Atlanta Courthouse TODAY, after pleading guilty to gun charges

T.I. was cut a great deal today. Instead of facing almost 8 years in prison he only has to spend 1. Today, an Atlanta Judge sentenced T.I. to one year in jail, if he complies with his plea agreement. According to his plea agreement, he only has to do 1000 hours of community service. He has to go around the world and speak to young people about the dangers and consequences of not obeying the law. AFTER he finishes his 1000 hours, he then has to serve 1 year and a 1 day worth of prison time. AND he probably won’t have to stay in jail that long- if he has good behavior they can knock up to 15% of his time off.

What did T.I. have to say about his good fortune? "While I'm not looking forward to being incarcerated, I have a long road of redemption to travel."

T.I. was also fined $100,000.

UPDATE: Wendy Goes Off-Air Over Sexual Harassment Scandal

According to the folks over at SOHH, Wendy Williams will be suspended indefinitely pending the results of her investigation. If you missed the blog entry from earlier this week—I’ll fill you in quickly: Wendy Williams' talent producer Nicole Spence accused Williams husband of sexual harassment and constantly telling her how he wanted to fu*k her. It seems like the station didn’t take to kind to Mrs. Williams' bashing Spence the way she did when she told the New York Post “that Bit*h is out her mind” because they have taken her off air.

An insider reports: “there will be a big meeting at WBLS with all their radio employees to discuss the company’s take on the scandal. Wendy’s erratic behavior, and subtle jabs at Nicole, and the situation on live radio have added to the abrupt decision.”

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!! T.I.’S ENTERING A GUILTY PLEA

Atlanta rapper, T.I.- or Clifton Harris, is expected to enter a guilty plea in his guns trial today, reports Perez. Which means he will probably be spending more time in prison!

If he pleads guilty, he might be sentenced to as much as 1,500 hours of community service talking to youth groups around the country, followed by 12 months in prison.

If you haven’t followed T.I.’s case here’s the fill-in:

T.I. was arrested last October for attempting to buy machine guns AND he wanted to pay for them with cash and not register them, registration is required by law.

He was then charged with possession of unregistered machine guns and silencers, as well as possession of firearms by a convicted felon. He is facing a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count.

Initially, T.I. pled not guilty and was sentenced to house arrest after he was released on a $3 million dollar bond. He has a change-of-plea hearing scheduled at 1:30 p.m. at the federal courthouse in Atlanta today.

~ Now it’s probably the possession by a convicted felon that looks so bad on him- we’re not sure if you saw the Punked episode where they put a gun on the plane and he freaked out. Well, he’s not supposed to have a gun on him since he’s on probation. Boy I know he wishes Ashton was the celebrity Judge on his trial today~

Kimora's Divorcing Russell

Kimora is officially divorcing Russell Simmons!!! According to People magazine, Kimora filed her divorce papers on Tuesday to end her marriage with mogul Russell Simmons. It was March of 2006 that the couple publicly announced their separation but even at that point they had supposedly been separated “for some time.”

In the court documents, which were filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Kimora cites “irreconcilable differences” as their reason for separation. She also asks for legal and physical custody of their two daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. She requests that Simmons, get “reasonable child visitation…[and that the visitation] be accompanied by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”

It doesn’t seem like this is going to be a nasty divorce. At the time of their separation in 2006, Simmons did say that “Kimora and I will remain committed parents and caring friends with great love and admiration for each other.” We’re pretty sure that they will have a respectable divorce and Simmons should not have any problems with Kimora’s custody suggestions.

Despite everything going okay with Kimora and Russell, Kimora is tired of being painted as a villain. At an appearance in Chicago earlier this month she told reporters; “I’m in the paper every single week- that I had a fight with my ex-husband, or that I was mad at one of his girlfriends, or that I’m pregnant, or that I demand Fiji water…Lies upon lies upon lies.”

Rihanna Has a Girls Night Out

Rihanna’s “A Girl’s Night Out” concert was a huge success. Recently, Rihanna has teamed up with her charity, The Believe Foundation and Island Def Jam to bring charity concerts to under privileged children. When speaking to a People representative she said that doing the concerts were “amazing.”

According to Rihanna, who signed autographs and did a meet-and-greet with the children, she has always wanted to help children. “When I was young and I would watch television and I would see all the children suffering, I always said when I grow up I want to help.” That was one of the reasons that she started The Believe Foundation.

While the news sites continue to report Chris Brown as her soft spot…Rihanna tells People of a new one. “Not long after I was in the position where I could help, I started to visit all these children’s hospitals and I have a soft spot for kids. I just want to help make sure they are happy. They can come to a Rihanna concert or have toys or gifts at Christmas.”

David Beckham, loves to break records and on Wednesday night he became the 5th player ever to reach triple figures in soccer. Wednesday’s soccer game marked the 100th time that Beckham represented the England nation soccer team.

Beckham, 32, took to the Paris field in a rather festive style on Wednesday night. He wore gold boots for the occasion and also brought his intense play-to-win attitude. A close pal told People. “David was so excited to play. He is still enthusiastic and has a great passion for playing for his country.”

When asked about how happy she was about expecting she stated that she’s “100% undeniably happy.” This will be Laila and Curtis’s first child together, he currently has three children from a previous marriage and Laila is experiencing motherhood for the very first time.

Tameka really needs to take a self-esteem booster pill. Today, People reported that Usher was barely able to shoot his new music video “Love in the Club” because Tameka was trying to make sure the video girls weren’t trying to push up on her man. One source told People, that “Tameka is very insecure.”

Apparently, Usher failed to tell his wife that he hand picked the lead in the video, Keri Hilson. According to the source Tameka was outraged at his decision and “was clearly not happy that Keri is so gorgeous.” The source went on to say “Tamkea threw a lot of attitude. The day of the shoot, Tameka dressed Keri very badly-she looked like an extra.”

One spy said that the initial goal of the video shoot was to be sexy but Tameka crushed that dream. “Tameka was there the entire time guarding like a watchdog. It was ridiculous”

While there have been reports that Jay is endorsing Obama’s campaign, his presentation at last nights concert confirms that he is on the “Yes, We Can” bandwagon. According to reports:

One source told People that it’s official “she’s got an engagement ring [and] she’s been showing it off [and] talking about it.”

Spears and her 18 year-old fiancé are expecting their baby this summer…so far they haven’t set a wedding date.

Wendy Williams Involved in Sex Scandal

Popular Radio host Wendy Williams and her husband Kevin Hunter are involved in a pretty heated sex SCANDAL. Nicole Spence, a former talent broker for Williams, has filed a complaint alleging that Hunter harassed her for sex.

In an interview with the New York Post, Spence claims that “Mr. Hunter repeatedly sexually propositioned me at work in the most crude and vulgar ways, telling me over and over that he wanted to f*ck me.”

Of course Wendy HAD to say her part to the Post too and she claims “her allegations are totally false. This BIT*H is out of her mind.”

Heath Ledger Was Worth More Than 145K

Reports have been soaring that Heath Ledger didn’t leave enough money behind for his daughter Matilda, but apparently those reports are wrong, at least they are according to TMZ.

The reports that have said he only left $145,000 in his estate are supposedly Fake. According to TMZ, Heath had wracked up a heap of money from the following films: “Lords of Dogtown,” “The Brothers Grimm,” “Brokeback Mountain,” “Casanova,” “Candy,” “I’m Not There,” and “The Dark Knight.” The money that he apparently made from these films didn’t go into U.S. accounts. Sources have told TMZ that he spread his money all over the world.

One of Heath’s Uncle’s has gone so far to say that the estate is valued at $60 million.

~Now that’s kind of on the steep side… But one thing is for sure Matilda will be just fine!~

Ex-Wrestler Chase Tatum Dies From Overdose

Former wrestler, Chase Tatum, who struggled with an addiction to painkillers, was found dead in his home on Sunday. His father, Roy Tatum, told reporters that he died from an accidental drug overdose.

According to his father, "he was in the process of getting his life back together. He was confident he was going to turn things around, to live a normal life again without those painkillers."

Chase Tatum, wrestling career was not long lived, he retired after 2 ½ years. After undergoing physical body strain in the wring, he had severe back problems and NO health insurance to help him pay for back surgery.

In addition to wrestling, Chase also worked as road manager and personal assistant for Outkast. More recently, he appeared alongside Big Boi in “Who’s Your Caddy.”

Nate Dogg is on Probation

Nate, Snoop Dogg’s cousin, plead guilty on March 20 to aggravated trespassing and battery charges, reports TMZ. These charges come from 2006 domestic violence complaints. Nate, was sentenced to three years of informal probation, he must complete a domestic violence/ batterers treatment program, and he can not own a weapon for ten years.

According to reports… Nate was charged with five misdemeanors in 2006.

1. Aggravated trespass of a dwelling
2. Battery
3. Annoying Telephone Calls
4. Disuading a Witness from Reporting a Crime
5. Violating a Protective Order from a Previous Domestic Violence Incident

He apparently received these five misdemeanors for breaking into a Huntington Beach home where his ex-girlfriend, her new boyfriend, and her mother lived. Nate punched the boyfriend in his face and left. While three of the five charges were dropped, Nate's ex and her boy friend both filed restraining orders against the hip hop artist.

Their seems to be no end to Fabolous even with his collaborations with singer The Dream- "Shawty is Da Sh*t(10) and Mims "New York Minute."

Remy Ma- The Gun Went Off on It’s Own

In the current Remy Ma case, the defense admitted that a gun shot Makeda Joseph, however, according to them the shot was not because Remy Ma pointed the gun and aimed at her. They claim that the gun went off while the two struggled over a bag.

Remy told the story totally different from Joseph. Remy claims that when the two tussled over the bag that Remy believed held her $3,000 that was supposedly stolen by Joseph, the gun that was inside just went off and that’s how Joseph was struck in the abdomen.

In an attempt to discredit Remy, the prosecution, pointed out that Remy never called 911 or a hospital, and the gun that was used was an illegal .45 automatic with hollow-point bullets.

Nicole Richie Goes Into Jewelry

It’s official Richie is a super-star in our book. Not only is she taking on the task of being a brand new mommy, she’s also taking on some independent business ventures. According to People, Richie, is adding being a jewelry designer to her extensive resume. While it’s all costume jewelry that she’s making, she has partnered up with the Mouawad company (they make jewelry for Heidi Klum) to get her new project started. Despite stepping into her new role as entrepreneur, she makes sure that her daughter Harlow comes first. She told People that “everyone has been really mellow and able to work around my schedule. If I need to go feed the baby, I do it.” Now that’s balancing motherhood and work. Congratulations Richie on all of your accomplishments, we can’t wait for your line to come out!!!!

Common and His New Boo Serena

This weekend Common and Serena were spotted at a West Hollywood hotspot. An eyewitness told People, that they were very affectionate, they held hands and kissed during their night out on the town. This isn’t the first time that there have been Common and Serena spottings. A few months ago they were spotted coming out of a hotel, liquor in hand and torn stockings on Serena, and more recently Serena made a cameo in Common’s latest music video “I Want You.” I guess he really does want him some Serena…they make a cute couple.

Hulk Hogan is Sued Again and This Time it Wasn’t His WIFE

John Graziaon’s family, the Iraq war veteran who was left semiconscious after Nick Hogan crashed his car in 2007, has filed suit against the Hogans.

The family is suing Hulk Hogan, his soon to be ex-wife Linda, and they listed Nick Hogan and Daniel Jacobs as co-defendant’s. The allegations are the Hogans were aware of their sons need for speed and were aware that he had modified vehicles to make them operate faster than they should.

The reports do not say how much they are suing the Hogan’s for but the family has spent more than $1 million in hospital care.

One night Nick and his buddy Daniel decided that they would go race some cars on a regular street way. Nick drove his Toyota Supra and Danny drove the Dodge Viper, both cars were owned by Hulk Hogan. As they were racing, Nick lost control of his car and crashed into John Graziaon.

Since the crash, Graziano has been in a semi-vegitative state. Part of his frontal lobe had to be removed. He only responds to heat and light and on a few occasions he has been able to breathe on his own.

Pamela's Two Month Marriage is Officially OVER

Anderson’s two-month marriage (last October to December) to Rick Salomon, was officially annulled yesterday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, reports TMZ. On Friday, Salomon followed Anderson’s lead, who had originally cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for divorce, and filed his own papers claiming “fraud” as the reason for annulment of the marriage.

Dr. Kevorkian For Senate Seat????

The Detroit Press recently reported that the Jack Kevorkian, the Dr. who assisted with approximately 130 suicides in an eight year period (1990-98), is running for a Congressional seat in Michigan.

One of his platforms that he’s using to be voted into Congress is fighting for the right to die via the Ninth Amendment.

He believes that the Ninth Amendment protects rights that aren’t explicitly specified anywhere else in the Constitution. Kevorkian believes that the Ninth amendment protects a person’s right to die through assisted suicide; according to him it also protects personal decisions such as not wearing a seat belt.

Just last year Kevorkian was released from state prison after he served eight years for assisting in the death of a 52-year-old-man who had Lou Gehrig’s disease. As a response to his being locked up for helping people fulfill their death desires Kevorkian feels that he should now fight the government by becoming apart of it. He is quoted saying the government is tyrannical, “You’ve been trained to obey it, not fight for it because the tyrant doesn’t like that.”

Combs Suit Settled

The law suit that was filed last year by Gerard Rechnitzer was settled on Friday, reports TMZ. Last year Rechnitzer, a New York rapper, says that he and his girlfriend were leaving an event at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel when Combs punched him while he was talking to his girlfriend.

The suit also claimed that Combs pushed Rechnitzer’s girlfriend and tried to spit on another woman who was in the parking lot. Rechnitzer also claims that as Combs left the scene, he climbed half way out the car window and stared him down.

On Friday, Comb’s lawyers filed a document in Los Angeles indicating that the case settled; the terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

People recently reported that one of the guys from Gossip Girls is coming out! According to their source, who wouldn’t give the exact characters name, it’s the guy who always wears a striped tie and a blazer.

Just When She Thought Things Were Looking Good…

On Monday Britney thought things were looking up for her, she made her T.V. debut and she returned to the studio, but as HER luck would have it something had to go wrong. A California Court of Appeal Judge threw out her case that was brought by her attorney challenging her father’s co-conservatorship over her. It doesn’t seem like he threw it out because he didn’t acknowledge that Britney was on a better track, apparently the court did not have jurisdiction to grant an appeal.

Oprah Gets Denied a Role in Upcoming Play… Are They CRAZY

August Wilson’s famous play “Fences” is going to be revived on Broadway and they’re looking for an all-star cast. Some rumors have circulated about them trying to cast Laurence Fishburn, Mos Def, and Anthony Mackie. While these are all big names…they don’t have a thing on Oprah who is no longer up for the role of Rose.

Last year, the latest buzz in the theater world was that Oprah would be cast for the part of the ex-baseball player’s wife. Supposedly, Winfrey wanted to play Rose for a long time. She even spoke to Wilson, who died in 2005, about playing the role in the movie, which has been in development for years.

Winfrey was introduced to the Broadway production by Kenny Leon and producer David Binder, they were the team behind the 2004 hit "A Raisin in the Sun" starring Sean Combs.

They were also close to lining up Forest Whitaker to play Troy- the ex-baseball playing husband.

Their plans, however, fell apart when Wilson's widow, Constanza Romero, refused to give them the rights to the play.

Constanza instead gave the rights to Carole Shorenstein Hays, the San Francisco real estate heiress and the original producer of "Fences."

A secret source told the New York Post "It was a question of loyalty; Carole was August's first producer. She supported all his plays, even the ones that weren't successful."

Binder and Leon were stunned. They had, after all, met with Wilson several times before he died to outline plans for their production. Wilson was especially impressed that they'd been able to lure predominantly black audiences to "A Raisin in the Sun."

Tyler Perry Comes in Second at the Box Office

Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns” was a hit in the box office coming in second to Dr. Seus’s “Horton.” The Los Angeles Associated Prress asked Paul Dergarabedian, president of box-office tracker, about the success of “Meet the Browns.” He stated, “you kind of know what you’re going to get with Tyler Perry, and that’s a good thing…you want to be in business with this guy because he’s going to make you money every time.” Money is exactly what Tyler made…he raked in 20 million this weekend with his movie…GOOD job Tyler!!!!!!!!!!!!
